Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (MFAM) has announced its participation in the Kulim Logistics Hub project in Kedah, Malaysia. This project, with a total floor area of approximately 36,000 m², will be developed in two phases: 22,000 m² in Phase 1 and 14,000 m² in Phase 2. MFAM has entered into a joint venture agreement with PKT Logistics Group Sdn. Bhd., a major logistics company in Malaysia. This marks the Mitsui Fudosan Group’s first involvement in a logistics facility project in Malaysia.
The logistics facility is strategically located along the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway, offering convenient access to Penang Port and Penang International Airport. It is also near Kulim Hi-Tech Park, a hub for semiconductor and automotive-related factories. The project will feature amenities such as a cafeteria and a fitness center to enhance employee convenience.
