Mitsui Fudosan signed an agreement to develop and operate LaLaport Mall, a key retail component of the Bukit Bintang City Centre Project in Kuala Lumpur. This large-scale mixed-use development, undertaken in partnership with EcoWorld Development Berhad, UDA Holdings Berhad, and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), will feature retail, office, residential, and hotel spaces. Construction of LaLaport Mall was estimated to begin in 2017, with an expected opening in 2021. The mall will feature approximately 300 stores and offer excellent accessibility, aiming to attract both local and international visitors with a diverse shopping experience.
